The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced this past January. The host for this years Golden Globes was Ricky Gervais. Gervais is best known for his role as David Brent on the “The Office.”
Gervais also executive-produces the Emmy Award-winning American version of “The Office” with Greg Daniels, Ben Silverman, Stephen Merchant, Howard Klein and Paul Lieberstein. The NBC version of “The Office” is the most successful US remake of a show and recently went into syndication.
The 68th Annual Golden Globe will be seen in over 160 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements.
